Yamaha YZF-R1 Jetprime Secondary Air Re-circulation System (PAIR) Blanking Plate Kit
Jetprime PAIR circuit eliminator cover for Yamaha YZF-R1.
CNC machined plate that replaces the original cover and rubber cap to close the hole in the filter box.
To suit the following Yamaha YZF-R1 models:
YZF-R1 (1000 Cc) - 2004/2006
YZF-R1 (1000 Cc) - 2007/2009
YZF-R1 (1000 Cc) - 2010/2014
YZF-R1 (1000 Cc) - 2015/2019
YZF-R1 (1000 Cc) - 2020/2022+
The secondary air injection system (PAIR) routes fresh air from the airbox to the exhaust system in order to aid the combustion of unburned fuel in the exhaust. This system is designed to improve emissions on stock exhaust systems, but will cause exhaust popping and backfiring when you fit aftermarket exhausts etc.
Kit includes:
- Jetprime billet CNC machined blanking plate with seal.
- Rubber blanking plug/cap - to close the hole in the filter box.

- Eliminates exhaust popping noise on deceleration and backfiring typically associated with aftermarket exhausts
